  1. Support the Team lead in operationalising the strategic direction for the programme to achieve programme objectives
  2. Timely implementation and reporting of activities
  3. Accurate programme monitoring and evaluation
  4. Proper financial management, reporting and spending
  5. Compliance with programme terms and conditions

Education LevelMasters Degree
QualificationsBusiness, Agriculture, International Development or a related field
SoftwareMS Office

Knowledge OfAgriculture in Southern Africa, specifically markets for inputs, markets for services, food storage and collateral management, supply chain cooridnation, monitoring and evaluation
Skills ToEngage with key stakeholders in government and private sector, integrate work streams into a cohesive programme
Ability ToDemonstrate effective staff and performance management of programms of similar scales and scope requiring integrated management of activities
PersonalityResourceful, task oriented team player
OtherMust have proven experience in implementation and successful delivery of Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P)
