Job Description
  1. Providing organizational and administrative support to the Group Legal Executive
  2. Records management of the Groups legal documentation
  3. Assisting with the drafting, amending, reviewing and proof reading of letters, contracts and other documentation
  4. Researching points of law
  5. Liaising with External legal counsel and acting as a liaison point for stakeholders
  6. Receiving, screening and redirecting, where appropriate, all phone calls and emails for the Group Legal Executive
  7. Managing the Group Legal Executives diary
  8. Tracking all legal matters through the maintaining of monthly legal reports
  9. Discretely handling sensitive and/or confidential information
  10. Ensuring budgetary adherence and compliance and processing of all departmental and Group Legal Executive invoices and claims
  11. Assisting with preparation for board meetings including reports
  12. Custodian of the trademarks register
  13. Other duties as assigned by the Legal Executive
  14. Maintenance and drafting of contracts; managing litigation and providing monthly reports; provision of timeous and accurate legal assistance.
