Job Description
  1. Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolutionLiaise with customers to acknowledge receipt of calls and negotiate deadlines based on agreed severity; Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
  2. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues and provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers, provide regular progress on support calls to customers.
  3. Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues; Prepare accurate and timely status reports; Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles; Meet the agreed Service level metrics when delivering support;. Regional travel to site locations for systems support and routine maintenance of I.T. equipment.
  4. Maintenance and reporting of the physical network infrastructure and power backup systems to meet SOP standards; Configuration and administration of I.T systems including switches, wireless APs,printers and CCTV equipment.
  5. Strong technical understanding of VLANS and IP routing; o MS Office 2010,Windows 7; o Server &Desktop hardware installation and maintenance; Cisco switch installation and maintenance; Active Directory including user and group administration; Knowledge of common protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, LDAP, KERBEROS, RADIUS and FTP
