Job Description
  1. Maintain day to day financial Control of the Operations of the company within budgets approved by the Board.
  2. Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored
  3. Make regular reports to the Finance Sub Committee and the Board on Income, Expenditure and any variations thereof
  4. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost containment and recommend appropriate action to be taken
  5. In conjunction with the Chief Executive, schedule, arrange and ensure that the AGM is held timeously and that the company operates within statutory requirements
  6. Act as co-signatory on payment instructions to the bank as well as confirmations of investments to counter parties
  7. Advise on and make recommendations for the profitable deployment of any surplus funds
  8. Schedule and attend meetings, prepare and distribute Minutes of the Risk & Audit Sub Committee and the Board
  9. Provide expert services to the Risk & Audit Committee and the Board on Financial evaluation of project proposals
  10. Maintain contact with the PAAB and ICAZ for standards.
  11. In conjunction with the Chief Executive, develop appropriate publicity strategy through effective relations with the media and the government
  12. Undertake such other duties and tasks as may be delegated by the Chief Executive from time to time.
