Job Description
Tracking all the movements from the plant to depot including ensuring all transactions are captured in the ERP on a timely basis.
Continuous follow up with the customer service team to ensure up to date information on customer requirements.
Ensuring stock management principles with regards to storage and FIFO
Supervision of loading contractor on a day to day basis ensuring contractual obligations are met
Ensuring that physical stock balances agree with stock balances booked in the ERP. Communicating any discrepancies to the depot supervisor.
Ensuring that customers are invoiced on time, in full and correctly is a key deliverable
Ensuring that depot delivery plans and forecasts are met , including the tracking of key KPIs relating to health, safety and environment, stock management, and customer care
Deal with queries from customers and other departments in respect to stock transfers made, invoices and status of dispatches
manage contractors operating on site ensuring that they meet their deliverables as defined in their contracts failing which issues are escalated as appropriate
Performing month end preparation tasks : ensuring all information has been captured in the ERP, performing and documenting physical stock verifications, and any other requirements as prescribed by the accounting department in the month-end process
