A large manufacturing group in Harare is looking for a Registered General Nurse with training in Occupational Health and Safety. Some experience in this capacity is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Science Degree along with Occupational Safety Qualifications.

Job Description
Occupational health and disease control
Promotion of health and good working conditions
Treatment of occupational injuries and diseases
Rehabilitation of the injured and the ill so as to help them resume their day to day activities.
Coordination of occupational health activities across the Group
Examines sick employees and prescribes treatment
Hospital and house visits to sick employees
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Refers complex cases to the company doctor, specialists and/or hospitals for further management
Participates in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) related activities
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Facilitates pre-periodic employment medical exams / Participates in HIV/AIDS awareness prevention and management programmes
