Job Description
Develop a Marketing Strategy and Plan in line with Company objectives.
Develop Brand Strategies through to Brand Plans and Brand and Activity Plans
Ensure brand standards/ brand DNA are adhered to in the market
Preparation and implementation of annual brand operational plans as well as effective brand communication with external and internal publics with compelling brand propositions.
Support the Sales/commercial efforts in pushing for the achievement of set market share and forward market share objectives
Gather consumer insights and ensure the translation of both consumer and shopper insights into marketing opportunities
Support initiatives aimed at developing a consumer-centric culture for the Company
Preparing and ensuring marketing expenditure falls within budget
Develop and manage brand promotional activities which include cross marketing strategies, campaigns, media marketing including social media, organizing events and exhibitions, brand communications (advertising and packaging) creative development process, and ensuring agencies deliver strategically sound messages
Working closely with the Commercial/Sales Team in developing Gap Closure Plans when targets are not being met and ensure remedial action is implemented
Understand key business messaging to develop marketing material content
Coordinate with marketing companies and suppliers for development of marketing/advertising material
Oversees the groups marketing campaigns and plays a key part in communicating the organizations marketing message
Inspire, develop and manage Marketing Staff performance
