Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers on Fibre, VSAT, WiMax, Microwave, IP Transit, Voice crash plan and other value-added services. The incumbent should be able to retain customers through efficient client services and customer relationship management for new and repeat business. The individual will also be responsible for meeting set sales targets. A clean Class 4 Drivers License is essential for the role. CVs sent to client and interviews have been scheduled

Job Description
Acquisition of new customers on Fibre, VSAT, WiMax, Microwave, IP Transit, Voice crash plan and other value added services
To retain customers through efficient client services, customer relationship management for new and repeat business
Responsible for meeting set sales targets
Analyze business developments, monitor market trends, have an eye for competition activity
Keep abreast of issues affecting internet companies and the Telecommunications industry
Developing and implementing strategies to protect the organisations market position
Expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing additional value added services and complementary solutions/services, performing opportunity assessments to determine customer needs, updating sales databases with relevant and accurate client information to ensure a clear flow of information
Direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls, e-mails and presentations
In charge of monitoring income and expenditure budgets and recommending better sales and marketing strategies
