The role requires effective co-ordination of the programmes projects and management of their inter dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. Job Description
Coordinate the implementation of core project activities
Organise assessments and workshops, and other programme activities
Organise and assist in conducting training workshops as well as advocacy work in the field
Assist in the identification, design, preparation of activities in line with the programme objectives
Draft weekly reports and portions of Quarterly Progress reports for submission to the Country Director
Liaise closely with the counterparts of an independent commission of government and other implementing partners
Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Assist in realizing synergies between program components as well as with other participating implementing partners of international organisations or CSOs
Assists in report writing as well as evaluation and monitoring of project implementation
Provide technical support to international and local consultants
Travel outside of Harare for project activities as required
Perform other duties as assigned
ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements
