Job Description
Provide technical support and capacity building of staff and associated schools to ensure effective roll-out of core activities, while liaising with other partners within the programme consortium around research, monitoring and evaluation
Work closely with the National Education Coordinator to assist on programme advocacy work with key stakeholders within the education and child protection sectors, whilst ensuring grant contract compliance and associated reporting to the programme funder
Plan and execute programme activities in a timely and accurate manner
Apply an analytical mind to the work, capturing key learning, feeding this back to the donor and M&E leads to inform programme improvement and strengthening
Assist in budget preparation and expense management of activities on a day to day basis to ensure full accountability of spending
Ensure compliance with the programme goals/objectives/expectations by conducting programme monitoring reviews and preparing donor reports
Provide support where needed to the programme M&E leads
Provide support and active input to the programme consultant leading on core material development for programme training
Collaborate with the National Education Coordinator, support field offices to meet agreed targets on a timely basis
Collaborate with the National Education Coordinator lead on training and capacity building of field staff (Diocesan Education and Child Protection Secretaries) , providing on-going mentorship as the work is extended into schools and communities
Support organising of key stakeholder workshops to support sector learning
Assist on engagement with Government to raise awareness of the programme and advocate for its purpose within schools

First degree plus a post graduate qualification in Social Sciences, Education, Anthropology, Child Protection

Programme/ grant management in the Child Protection and safeguarding sector or Education sector with a passion for children's rights and rights based approaches. Confidence with the M&E process

Ability To
