An exciting opportunity to join a well established international organisation.As the Data Quality Specialist you will be responsible for promoting generation, reporting of high-quality data for effective and accurate tracking of progress towards set targets. The ideal candidate will have least Degree in Biostatistics, Social Sciences, Computers, Public Health or any other relevant field. A Masters degree in any of these fields is an advantage. Job Description
Participate in national / district quarterly data triangulation and verification meetings with facility HIV testing partner / MOHCC to address any inconsistencies in reported data.
Leads the development/updating of the Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan (EMMP) and assessment/monitoring tools as required by the donor
Leads the development/updating of Data Duplication/ Standards/Guidelines in collaboration with programs team and other PEPFAR funded HIV testing partners
Participates in internal and donor Site Improvement through Monitoring System (SIMS) assessments in line with organisation / donor standards.
Conducts environmental compliance assessments in line with the approved donor Environmental Monitoring / Management Plan
Ensures appropriate storage of both manual and electronic data at implementation level for all programs.
Monitors adherence to Data Duplication Standards by programs staff at all relevant levels.
Leads on capacity building of programs staff on environmental monitoring / management
Provides capacity building on data management to programs staff.
