INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

A local NGO is seeking an Information Management Specialist. You will be responsible for planning, leading and implementing a system for the analysis and communication of data from multiple sectors, to inform ongoing execution of a plan to eliminate cholera. You will collate and analyse data primarily from (but not exclusive to) the health and water and sanitation sectors. He/she will explore and propose innovative methods for gathering. Job Description
Design workflow processes and protocols to support collecting and syncing of information from the different sectors/stakeholders/data sources, feeding into centralized database.
Monitor progress in implementation of the system, supporting improved quality of data and adherence to reporting protocols
Receive and troubleshoot technical challenges faced by system users
Weekly and Monthly Reports and dashboards generated and circulated to monitor the response
Conduct robust trend analyses (including geospatial analysis) of system data and develop accessible reports to feed back to partners, and to inform strategy and execution of the cholera elimination plan
Efficient data sharing/transmission and management occurring between all relevant stakeholders, including Ministry of Health and Ministry of Local Government
Provide technical assistance and training in the use of the system for data analysis and decision-making in policy and strategic planning at both the national and sub-national levels
