The client seeks for a suitably qualified candidate to oversee day-to-day operations, controls the budget and coaching personnel. There is a close cooperation with the General Manager where the Deputy General Manager assists to plan, develop and oversee projects. He/She also steps in and takes over responsibilities of the General Managers in his/her absence.

Job Description
Liaising with House Manager regarding linen usage, room amenities and other room decorations, and cost and assisting where necessary.
Assist Front Office Manager in all aspects of managing Reception & Housekeeping Staff and ensuring smooth check in and out of Guests from the hotel.
Ensuring Public Area Cleaners are maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all public areas of the hotel including the Pool Bar.
Ensuring the Staff in these restaurants receive regular on the job training and reinforcement of service standards.
In conjunction with General Manager overseeing of Reservations staff to ensure all bookings are handled efficiently and correctly.
Gathering figures from each head of department and compile weekly and monthly reports.
Discipline of all staff should be administered according to the Code of Conduct.
Maximise Guest satisfaction of the services
Ensuring the security of stocks and curtailing shrinkage.
FIFO stock rotation method to be adhered to.
High level of quality control at receiving.
Daily cash up at Reception.
