Job Description
Prepares the investment plan to support the Funds strategic objectives. Develops measurement indicators for evaluating projects, investment proposals as well as Fund financial forecasts. Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and investment opportunities; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.
Develops the necessary investment forecasting tools models which support balance sheet growth. Prepares scenario analysis reports on current and future investments and recommends the appropriate action. Prepares medium, and long term financial forecast for Investments in line with Actuarial projections. Maintains the Pension Funds project investment model.
Prepares the business cases for all new projects for consideration by the Principal Officer. Prepares Investment Risk Analysis for all new projects for consideration by the Principal Officer. Reviews on a quarterly basis the risk profile of held investments and recommends the appropriate action. Monitors the costs of ongoing projects to ensure compliance to agreed benchmarks
Monitors the monthly performance of investments and recommends the appropriate action. Prepares variance analysis on investment returns. Monitors the quarterly performance of the asset managers in line with the investment policy and recommends the appropriate action.
Review the cashflow projections and recommends appropriate investment options. Prepares the financials for capital raising where appropriate. Monitors on a quarterly basis the compliance to IPEC Investment requirements. Recommends appropriate action to address non compliance
