Job Description
Prepare the annual business plan for approval by the Head of Banking to ensure incorporation into corporate strategy.
Setting performance targets for individual branch staff to meet the approved targets and ensure understanding by all staff members
Monitor the achievement of all set targets by team members to ensure actual targets meet planned targets.
Recommend any corrective action to be executed to close any performance gaps for the branch if any.
Undertake an environmental scan analysis so as to develop strategies that will drive the mandate of the organisation thus increasing profitability
Ensure products and services are competitively priced through market intelligence and co-ordination with other departments.
Effective customer relationship management through allocating portfolios to customer service officers to build customer loyalty
Manage and monitor bad debts accounts to ensure outstanding amounts are recovered.
Perform bi-monthly and spot cash checks for tellers and vault to avoid any financial losses.
Scrutinize account opening forms for completeness and adequacy of documentation submitted to ensure that the bank enters into low risk banking relationships.
Check and ensure that the Operations Supervisor has carried out timeous and accurate reconciliation of suspense accounts to avoid frauds and losses.
