This role requires someone who will be responsible with planning, leading, organizing, and supervising the day to day activities of the Workshop Section. Job Description
Co-ordination of Plant and Equipment for Projects
Managing all Repair and Maintenance work
Overseeing plant operations
Ensure the conveyor systems are always fully serviceable and maintained.
Develop a long term chain maintenance plan for key equipment and infrastructure
Ensure that Tow motors are always fully serviced and operational.
Ensure all infrastructure is in its required working condition and gives the company a good image.
To supervise all external contractors and ensure they meet all our quality standards, NSSA compliance, SHEQMS standards.
To Develop and manage the workshop budget.
Hands-on supervision of all workshop activities, especially technical issues.
Ensure that warranties are properly followed up, monitored, and documented
Follow up repair order, registering the time taken to complete each task.
Evaluate the training requirements of subordinates and discuss/agree training needs with the operations manager
Ensure the stock management system is fully functional with adequate documentation.
Signs and approves employee timesheets.
Support and full comply with Company and Departmental policies and procedures
Conduct any other task given to him by the operations manager or senior management.
Leads a group of at least 10 technical staff and helpers within the workshop and other sites.
