The ideal candidate must have a degree in Agronomy and 2 to 3 years hands on experience in cold chain management and storage of horticultural fruits & crops. Job Description
Development of strategy and roadmap for the Cold Chain and Storage Technology Pillars.
Coordination with risk department to develop systems, procedures and processes for cold chain Packhouse operations and storage technology operations.
Overseeing Agronomy operations : Farm selection / soil analysis / Tillage / Spraying programmes / Harvesting /Packaging / Logistics
Assured supply and order fulfillment for customers of horticultural crops and fruits, throughout the farming seasons.
Overseeing quality control of horticultural produce from planting up to delivery to customers.
Management of carrier policies and procedures for product transport and delivery to curb pilferage and quality deterioration.
Staff motivation and day to day management of cold chain and storage technology staff.
Development of horticultural exports roadmap, plan and execution.
Stakeholder relationship management.
