- Inspect, repair conveyor belts, train conveyors, cold splice conveyors and lag pulleys
- Construct and commission new installations
- Install and maintain conveyor belt scrapers
- Ensure conveyor ability and that the conveyors are free of spillage.
- Assist in controlling critical spares for conveyors, scrapers and pulleys
- Comply with SHEQ targets and objectives
- Comply with SHEQ statutory and functional requirements
- Comply with Emergency Preparedness and Response requirements
- Conduct Risk Assessments
- Fill in pre-use inspections and report defects
- Compile conveyor, pulley and scraper reports for plants
- Compile and complete maintenance documents
