Recently established local NGO, Prison Friends of Zimbabwe requires the creation of a Board comprising a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and board members. - To assist with the provision of access to legal advsise and assistance with bail payments to financially constrained inmates.
- To equip prisoners and ex-proisoners with survival skills which are crime free.
- To provide quality sufficient food, basic needs and counselling to prisoners living with HIV.
- To promote the interests of prisoners in legislation through liaising with Government efforts to alleviate problems faced by disadvantaged prisoners.
- To cater for families of prisoners under incarceration by providing them with clothing, food and school fees.
